You'll notice they said "the landscape".
Not "a pretty landscape".

I get your point. I guess when I see the words landscape and photo together my mind automatically goes to typical landscape photography. So I was just looking at the scene behind the dog wondering why someone was trying to photograph it.

I'll admit, I wondered the same.
