That's 3k per million listens and they have to pay u a large sum off that bat to even put ur song on there

if you imagine that you get this $ everytime someone listen to your song, thats not THAT bad. i mean.. if you sell a CD..you only get one time $..but if you're on spotify you get a long time return of money. think about the following: if you're a artist who makes money.. you don't only share them on spotify.. you sell them too on other places. in other words.. you get good money if you make good songs & people like them. the problem here is..often artists who make crap music say "i don't get much money :(".. but don't get the fact that this is not the fault of spotify, but their crappy music who no one wants to listen to. it's no wonder if you make bad music and nobody listen to your music..that you can't make much money with it. but if you just sell your musick on spotify and no elsewhere..thats your fault.. not spotify. artists KNOW what they get if they go to spotifiy.. if they don't like the extra money they make without any effort (of burning CD's,shipping etc)..thats fine.

Artist wouldn't put their music on Spotify if it wasn't worthwhile

At least they get something for it. And with all of the artists and songs on there, they can only get paid so much. I love spoofy
