RIP Pioneer tunnel tree. The 1000+ year old sequoia tree finally fell

Kinda what happens when you carve a giant hole in something.

How did it fall? Storm? Natural progression? Car accident?

It sucks because we planned to go there this summer cause I always wanted to see it.
I hear they already plan to plant a new one even though it take forever to get back where it was.
