Unpopular opinion: This is the worst possible way to handle any situation with your child. Keep the problems at home, don't bring them into the public eye and definitely don't shame them and their friends on the internet.
Damn, that bit about not having an address to send a fathers day card is harsh. I read somewhere that publicly shaming your child can lead to minor psychological problems(for them) and it can seriously hurt your relationship with your child.
since many disagree I'm curious as to what alternate method you would've taken to handle this?

Personally I would've taken away some privileges, like the kid's phone or something, and legit just talk about it. Talk about why you shouldn't go to an older dude's house and shit. I wouldn't make a huge spectacle bc I wouldn't want things to get out of hand.
It just hit me..maybe these kids are the type who need this type of treatment ?? They could be the type that just talking to them and selling the tickets aren't enough. Different kids need different types of punishment and maybe this is what it was going to take to keep them from doing something like this again.
It tell them im selling the tickets and they can buy them back if they wanted but since I paid for it i doubt they'd be able to also ground them and basically do what this woman did minus the stupid back story "1D tickets, don't want em, you can have em, sold to the highest bidder" that way they'd also have a hard time buying it back because they won't look for the parental rant tickets and ask for their parents credit card to buy them and go anyway
@rwby_rose you said "Talk about why you shouldn't go to an older dude's house and shit." I kind of like pooping at older people's houses, they often have the softer toilet paper, and those scented oil stick things and pretty soap; but that's just like my opinion man.
One Direction fans are the most obnoxious, narcissistic, and unsympathetic group of girls I've ever known. I used to work at a big concert place and we got a lot of crazy fans but these preteen wannabes were by far the most terrible....I also don't like One Direction their music is not that great compared to other popular artists
Parenting Level=Epic. Good for her. Perhaps these little snots needed a public wake up call. I applaud this in so many ways. They will definitely be scared to death of giving her a reason to publicly post anything else about them.
I think this was handled the right way! In their world ,talking to them whete they see hear everything . The world is different now but great way to get your point across. Love it
People are different child raising isn't easy what works for one parent may not work for another so you do whatever it takes to send the message because the people who disagree with the manor you're raising your children will not be the ones at the prison, hospital or the morgue!

I've gotta stop saying "and shit" from now on
