So, someone handed him the flag wrong, he held it up and then noticed it was oriented wrong. Then he turned it so it was correct from his perspective and the people behind him. Have you ever looked at flags flying? The stars are always next to the pole whether the flag is blowing to the left or right. So it doesn't make it wrong to hold the way he's holding it looking from either direction. Why this obsession with "discovering" and making up faults and errors of politicians you dislike?
...no... If you were in the military, and did this @ an offical event, and were acting as a representative for the military, than you might be scolded, but it's sure as hell not illegal
Actually I think it is illegal to display political beliefs in uniform when you're in the military. Like if a sailor went to a trump or Hilary rally in any navy uniform. Something like that.
Yeah well if you're a soldier you have approximately -3 rights because you are owned by the government and they can tell you to do whatever the hell they want and you have to do it.
It's more like you represent the military when in uniform and if you're seen at a political event in uniform, it might suggest to people that the military is partial to a certain political party. The military isn't supposed to be partial.
It's a choice though. There hasn't been a draft since Vietnam right? And the benefits are tremendous. Also, you have a lot more freedom than people think.
