1 it's not an immigration ban.
2 it's not implemented properly or nearly as widespread as it should be.
I have 2 brothers in CBP. (One green, one blue) the fearmongering in the media about this is unfounded. There have been issues for over 20 years. There has not been a system in place to run background checks on every visa applicant (the Canadians do). As a us citizen crossing back into the us you are subject to more investigation than a non citizen entering the country. Do I think a that comprehensive immigration reform could have stopped the Tsarnaev brothers or Malik from San bernadino; yes I do. This temporary stay of immigration is a starting point.
So, instead of debating the actual point or throwing out a competing idea, he insulted the guy's appearance? That's what we've come down to now. Anybody you don't like it's fair game for personal insults. And you wonder why people who don't agree with you don't even want to listen to your side of an issue.
