Nah it's not stupid, it can open up a intellectual discussion on how the world would handle an animal as intelligent as a human. I agree that it would be fascinating but I'm also know to have questionable opinions when it comes to science and I'm generally known to not be a good person.

I'd be interested in how the catholic church and other religions would respond. Fuck, we'd have the give it special rights apart from other animals too... which brings up the question where you draw the line on intelligence. Would be very interesting indeed.
