If I scare my dog or accidentally stand on her paw she always checks to see if I'm fine by kissing me

Sometimes if I'm lying with my dog, I make him uncomfortable by getting too close and he does that yelp-bark thing, then starts to kiss me because he wants to make sure I'm fine. He's a good doggo.
