technically they don't have wings, they have flippers. and only certain species of them live in remote places like Antarctica. many species live in heavily populated places such as South America, South Africa, and New Zealand

They use their "wings" to fly underwater. It's really impressive to see.

It is impressive. Some folks at the University of Georgia (I think it's Georgia) did research into making boats more efficient by studying penguin swimming efficiency
