no they don't. if they stay too long at one position after a shoot, they get found easy. even in battlefield bad company 2 (big maps) you need to move from position to position. but yeah.. off course not like "running around and shoot in the air" style.. but if you would camp, you would die. even real life snipers move from position to position :)..

True, but all vantage points have a pretty clear sight of the same areas. So regardless of where you are as a sniper, chances are you're always gonna be watching a specific doorway or area that people are extremely likely to enter from.

yes, but exactly that is the idea behind a sniper ;) if this would not be the case, snipers wouldn be able to do s*it. imagine a sniper without this.. you would need to maybe go really near to enemys and knife them or something because sniper weapons are not made for close-combat^^ the thing is.. most snipers are not that good.. so the first shoot will in most case not hit.. so if you're a class / human with a weapon like a machinegun or something..you can hide & use paths who are safe against snipers. in battlefield bad company 2 you go inside houses, behind trees, behind rocks etc.. in reallife you can do the same. if you know where the sniper is (what you find out after the first or second shoot really easy), you can prevent them from shooting you^^ annnddd if you know there will be maybe snipers, you can watch out for possible sniper positions for snipers.. most times you will find one (in games) there, where you would hide yourself as a sniper^^

THANK YOU! YES! Snipers DO NOT have the rate of fire or mobility necessary to run around like a sub-gunner. That said, your position is easily detectable after firing. Moving around a lot is key.

How about just play the game your way and others will play their way.
