But exploiting laughter doesn't make the kids scared and requires no work from them

Serious question: are there people who believe ethical capitolism can't exist?

Woah. Please save me from seeking out the tumbler for my answers! Lol. Are they of the belief that ethical capitalism doesn't exsist as a whole or that a company can't be run in an ethical capitalistic manner? curious what they think should exsist if not true capitalism? For the record i would classify the US as Crony Capitalism and to me the correct economy is true capitalism.

Technically other sources of power such as solar and wind are also capitalism....are those unethical?

Coal is also free, it's bountiful, in our earth. But we need people to dig it out, to transport it, to put it to use, and all that machines to be repaired. Solar power also needs solar cells to be made, and repaired, and cables or whatever, and place to be stored, that means there are one eyed green employees that still work even if Sun is free. So they need (or it's better to say bosses force them) to get that free free-er (more free). That would mean in the case of Monsters inc. that they make children laugh even if they don't want to (as seen in cartoon). So, yes, they are exploited.

You say "bosses force them", i resent that. Nobody is forced to work anywhere (in the US). People need to stop viewing it that way because when you see it as opportunity, your whole outlook becomes more positive. Take your power back and stop being a victim.

You're @princessmonstertru, so princess -filthy capitalist, monstertru - owning monster. inc. Case closed. JK. Nobody forces them with whips, but if you believe they don't tell them "You're fired if you show you did worst of all the colegues" then you really are the princess

Lol. Everything you said (at least the parts that make any sense) supports what i said. I dont care if your employer fires the lowest performing person every hour and tells the remaining people they're next. That just makes them a $hitty employer. Until someone holds a gun to your head the decision to keep working there is still yours and yours alone. If you dont want to work in that garbage enviroment....quit!. If it's the best job around and you need the money....stay and be greatful that someone gave you an option thats better than unemployment. If you don't like either of those options, start your own company and run it however the hell you want. My point is that you have a CHOICE!

Many people do internship (sometimes even without a pay, here it's totally possible) for a decade for meager pay just so they can have"work experience"when next employer asks for 5y experience (but not older people than 30 which is almost impossible). Young professors like me take ten percent of classes, older take 40h work week, not because we're lazy, we need to wait. That's why I have less than around 150$. If I teach in two schools pension will be smaller. A lot of companies don't pay you "We pay you by giving you experience" or it's probation. They literally torture them, they even make them piss in a bag attached to them, or have sex with them. If that doesn't make them leave, why would "unsatisfactory environment"? It's shithell, but there's nothing we can do. :(

I did 9 months unpaid internships to get the career I wanted and you dont hear me whining like a child. You ever notice successful people don'T sit around finding reasona they're not successful?
