but that's 364 days - you'd need to add a leap day every year, and an extra leap day every fourth year, to keep the seasons in alignment with the calendar

you could do (12 x 28) + (1 x 29), but you'd still need to have a leap year every fourth year

Oh, hey, we can just call the necessary leap days holidays completely separate from the weeks and still keep our non-shifting monthly calendar!

That's roughly what the Jews have been doing for over 2000 years.

Great idea, 13 yearly bills...

Ah, but let me counterpoint: Biweekly paychecks mean that your pay will now come in *reliably* in relation to your bills' due dates.

Most Pagani calendars had 13 lunar months. It's why the church didn't want to use them and went with 12 instead.

Sure but a lunar month is no good for agriculture. It's much more valuable to know that winter starts in December, than to know that the 12th of each month is a new moon, you know?

Mayans also had 13 months. 13 was a special number to them instead of unlucky like some ppl think it is

What’ll be the name of the 13 month. Since non of us has thought of this but me I suggest the name Herbold.
