This is something I would do if I wasn't so shy.

I often don't believe these sorts of stories, but I believe this. There are people on the bus I catch in the mornings who never move over to the window seat, even if the bus is packed and beyond crowded. I enjoy having a seat to myself because I'm not a people person, but god, I'd never make someone stand if there's a spare seat by me. It's just decency.

"I'll take shit that never happened for 500"

I can see one or two nods of approval, but the clapping bit seems a tad far fetched. Besides that, it sounds like something that would happen.

I tend to sit in the aisle seat because the window seat doesn't have room under it for my backpack, so I put it under the seat. But I do let people through to the window.
