This was actually cool to watch in person. Worked up at Prudhoe Bay ( aka-Dead Horse) Alaska for two years. We would watch the arctic foxs (white and red) do this.

Their hearing has to be really sensitive for them to pounce so accurately
Saw a documentary on them. It said they can hear the mice traveling in tunnels 4' below in the snow. It's cool to watch on tv but to see it in person was really awesome. Seeing the northern lights on film or tv is ok. But to see them dance and change color right above you was mind blowing.
Nice! An ya very right about all the things ya can do online. But until ya see it with your own eyes, ya never gonna truly know how awesome somethin is.
