"Chocolate can be lethal for cats. Although most cats won't eat it on their own, they can be coaxed to eat it by owners and others who think they are giving the cat a treat. The toxic agent in chocolate is theobromine. It's in all kinds of chocolate, even white chocolate. The most dangerous kinds, though, are dark chocolate and unsweetened baking chocolate. While yes, chocolate can be lethal, it won't kill a cat in tiny doses. At worse the cat might get some digestive issues. It might take like three or four Hershey's kisses to kill a cat.

f cats ill feed them all the chocolate i got. Bunch of uncaring turds who sit around eat and knock over my stuff.

@captainjackharknes YOU CAN'T JUST FEED IT TO THEM THOUGH IT'S INHUMANE. IF THIS WAS A POST ABOUT FEEDING DOGS CHOCOLATE PEOPLE WOULD BE LOOSING THEIR POOP! LIKE THAT IS WHAT IS ANGERING ME. THEY CAN DIE FROM IT. I CAN HAVE A BIT OF CYANIDE FROM APPLE SEEDS AND NOT DIE BUT I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE CYANIDE BECAUSE IT CAN KILL ME. YOU SEE WHERE I'M COMING FROM? Sorry for getting ranty I just hate seeing animals being treated wrong. I just can't understand how some people can just be mean to animals.

Captain Jack, while I can't tell how much they used, bear in mind that is a very small kitten, the dangerous dose is significantly less than for an adult cat. That being said, often times in things like this, the owner doesn't actually give tge animal the chocolate. It's usually from a batch before the candy was added. For that matter it doesn't even look like his have chocolate, they look plain.
