People summon heroes to win the holy grail, a cup, that grants any wish. Goal is to be the last person with a hero to win. To win they must kill the hero or the person. I've seen this and Fate/Zero. Same thing same time, except zero happens before stay night

There's one from the year 2000 that is horribly translated and then there's ubw that is great. I still like zero more but that's just my personal preference.

I like the story, animation was pretty good on both zero and stay night. Got me pumped too. I recommend and both stories are connected. Recommend watching zero first, then stay night because that's the timeline as far as I know
