Baby, it's cold outside

When a southerner says it's cold, a random northerner pops up to tell them that they "Don't know the meaning of cold."

I'm from the southwest and moved to way, way northern New England. For me, I can handle the cold, even when it gets into the negatives. It's the damn snow and ice I hate because I'm not a skilled snow driver and I have a little boxy car. When I have to drive in snow, I always go about 5 below and stop wayyyyy before the lights

I am ashamed to say that I have been known to be the second person.

I will commiserate with you. I'm from Alaska. I hate the cold. And I hate how people assume I would be fine with it just because I'm from Alaska.
Though this comment does put me in the position of potentially looking like the snob who has more cold experience than someone else... :P

Don't start conversations with Starbucks employees duh!
