It's this message about how you can do what you want and it doesn't matter where you come from or what you are.
They push a lot of diversity and stuff. It's like Ratatouille but shit.
While I do agree with you that it was bland. That wasn't really the point of my post. It was more about the parallels of the two movies and how far Disney has come.
I get that but people act as if Zootopia did so much crazy new shit and it's just like when people said "Frozen was the first Disney movie that [something empowering for women]". That stuff is bullshit after all the feminist and pro-women movies in the 90s. I'm getting the same vibes.
I mean I can't help myself when

"Do I? Yes, yes I do"

Song from the south wasn't racist (insulting because of ones race) it was just a bit stereotypical there was not a single malicious action or word that was "racist
I agree with you. I'm not really sure what is racist about song of the south. There aren't any racial slurs and nothing is really too offensive but I do remember reading something a while back about how Brer Rabbit was a stereotype of all blacks and how they steal and aren't trustworthy. Hopefully that makes sense. But honestly I think dumbo with the black crows and Peter Pan's song with the Indians and tiger Lilly "What Made The Red Man Red" is way worse
It didn't even really feel like a Disney movie. It just felt...bland
