Yeah but taking a lot of selfies implies vanity which isn't a good attribute to have. Also, someone intelligent would probably invest the time in reading or such instead of taking selfies.

Not necessarily, sometimes selfies are just fun to take. Sometimes you hair looks nice and you want to remember it. Maybe she just got those glasses and she loves them. It's okay to be excited about trivial things, it's okay to celebrate the small victories or do pointless things that make you happy. Let's not villianise being human.
