I'd like to think that I would've told him to piss off, but I'm too socially awkward to say anything to his face. So, tbh I'd prolly do the same

Me too on both fronts, then again my boss has absolutely no problems with her employees telling unpleasant people to leave and if she's working an hears people getting an attitude with the cashier she will tell them to leave.
