I always take one of those camping canopies so I can fish on a nice day without the sun getting on me cuz I'm precious like that

Why was I downvoted? My great grandfather died of skin cancer, and we suspected it was because he always fished in the noonday sun.

Apparently he didn't know that you're supposed to fish at dawn and dusk, when fish are most active.

I'm not sure, but my condolences about your grandfather. I've heard fishing is even worse for that because you also have the reflection of the water. But I'm convinced fishing is good for the soul, so maybe its a decent tradeoff.
