This is why my music playlist mostly consists of those happy, cute, dumb little "I love you and you make me happy" songs. It makes me happier as a result.

I want to be happy implies that he is sad/miserable does it not?

I don't know what music you're listening too but there's plenty of stuff of stuff out there about wanting to be happy and being happy. Lots of mainstream pop as well. As for the sex thing, wanting to have sex with someone isn't a bad thing, you know?

I thought this was in reference to the greed that musicians encounter and how this drive for desire is not makes you happy, on the contrary it is what makes you sad and miserable.

It pisses me off when people give such statements without even realising that music never "changes for worse". What we hear on the radio at the moment is what sells best. And if you want to find true music with real emotions and a meaning, then you have to dig deeper.
