I can't help but wonder what would happen if an actor/actress invited everyone (including the paparazzi) to say, the library on a regular basis to take pictures. Would that in effect "flood the market", causing the value of pictures of them doing everyday stuff to fall, since they'd now be so commonplace?
I dont know why people get so upset over paparazzi. They never hurt anybody. Except, well the whole Princess Diana thing and they said that was a murder.
Comes with the gig. If you're famouse, then expect people to be interested in you. They signed up knowing good and well they were going to be followed 24/7. If you're not an asshat to the pap's then they tend to repect you. If you're a dick about it I'm sure they tell each other and can make your life a living hell. Case in point: Jim Carrey.
Just because they're famous does not mean they need to be followed 24/7
Yes, they will be expected to be in the limelight a lot, but they deserve some time to their self, and they are not obligated to treat the pap nicely, when the pap are annoying them and invading their privacy
Sometimes the hounding can ruin many things such as a precious family moment. For example a funeral. Also they invade on everything and have no concept of personal space.
