Adult cats (particularly lions) will mimic pain when their little ones bite them in order to encourage the babies and show them that they are doing a good job learning how to hunt.

Unrelated in what sense? The information given falls under the "Cat"egory umbrella being discussed. It doesn't hurt for someone to share information, and it is a bit of a dick move to be a dick to someone.
