He was a child star on Disney channel for years on a show called Suite Life of Zach and Cody ( then Suite life on Deck ) and then when they got older him and his brother went to pursue higher educations
I don't know about that. Even in the Suite Life of Zach and Cody days, Dylan Sprouse (Zach) has always had a much wider face than Cole and Cole has always been leaner.

Is it really that hard to tell them apart? I watched them my whole childhood so I'm biased in saying that but...
Not really. Dylan is more wide and is shorter and Cole is slimmer and taller. Dylan's voice is also deeper. If you watched them a lot it's easier to tell them apart but it became more apparent as they got older.
