Um.... we sent probes to orbit the sun? I find that quite hard to believe. Wouldn't they... you know... burn? Or get pulled into the sun?

There are some out there in orbit in the Lagrange points. I think this is showing probes that observe the sun/planet/moon. SOHO is one probe that watches the sun, but it is near the end of it's life.
