He's downvoted but he does kinda have a point. I was terrified of talking in front of people even though I do it for my job. After facing your fear for a while you do start to overcome it.
But some people need more help than others, I do understand that
The best way I can summarize social anxiety is fear of consequences. It's not that you don't like people, it's not that you can't string together more than four sentences, it's that you don't want to suffer from whatever mis-wording you do. So a "fuck it" attitude is precisely what you need to get over social anxiety.
I feel as if the main issue that people have with this is simply that people just say "get over it" instead of saying "this is how you get over it". Maybe there isn't an instruction manual for being more social, but people are always free to atleast lead others in the right direction, instead of giving vague hints.
But some people need more help than others, I do understand that
My job is the reason I've become more comfortable around people.
