This is actually true! All assassinations are accurate to the date and place of the person's death, plus most have a data base that you can read real information about the person.

If only they made video games designed to teach history. That would be the best win-win ever.

there are some games who do this (like assasins creed, even if i didn't played it), so.. what^^ there are other games too who will teach you stuff about our reality/world.. so some dev's really do what you want, just not just for history

I'm talking about a game literally designed around a class.

i think if someone really would design some game specific for a class, it would be not fun to play. i know a few softwares who are developed for schools and they all sucks because the devs think they need to be "hip" and "cool"..and then the whole software is crap because they implement stuff no-one think is fun or good. i'm a developer by myself and i would think it would be a good idea if someone would create such a game but.. the cost & developement time for such a game is soooo big.. that it would not be rentable to develope just for schools. most developers develope their games specific for the whole world because otherwise they could not develope it because it would be to expensive. it would not be do able to dev. such a game like assasins creed or other games like this for schools / universitys. i don't think anyone would do this..and if someone would do this, it would be crap (cheap graphics, not really fun to play, crappy animations etc.). most games are years in developement

and cost millions of €.. i don't think schools alone could pay the costs for the developement.

Well yeah. Just as a hypothetical, it'd be great if there was a good, fun game, designed to teach history. But actually good, not some dumbass trying to make it "cool" or "hip."

Honestly I learned like 20 different phrases in Italian after playing assassins creed 2, the only problem is that most of those phrases are insults.
