So people are thrown into this bad situation ( especially after paying hundreds of thousands of dollars, and it's worse than just a little dehydration and luggage being thrown about ) and he thinks he's better than them because he didn't pay to get there ?
That's not what he said, he said watching the posh lose their shit was the best part, not that they're dehydrated or anything, just watching them freak out. He didn't actually wish harm on them ya goof
" But yeah, watching rich people freak out because their luggage was being handled roughly or they were slightly dehydrated ? Oh it was like chicken soup for my middle class soul "
Literally taken from right up there. The conditions were worse than what he was saying, people were literally passing out from dehydration and there weren't even enough beds for everyone and the food they did have was very bad.
I never said he was wishing them harm just enjoying watching it and having a superiority complex about it, and that makes him an asshole.
Other guest here: it's satire anyways, and the picture is a bad Photoshop (look at the shadows). I thought of The Hard Times, but even though they made at least one article about Fyre (thehardtimes.net/music/distressed-fyre-festival-attendees-beach-spell-send-vip-brunch-rocks), I still do not know where this picture comes from.

So for some people it seems fine, if not necessary, to make jokes at the expense of minorities, women and "SJW", but not rich people?
There's a difference between making jokes about people who act like idiots/are otherwise fine. Making fun of rich people is fine but the people at this festival were in a dangerous situation where their health was at risk, and in some situations needing things that were not available like water and certain medicines and certain dietary needs which made it worse.

Yea, of course you're right. It's you who decides whats legit and what not. As if that would lie on the eye of the beholder, how dare I...
The people at this festival experienced what EVERYONE experiences who ever was on an open air festival. And if you compare the ticket costs to how much money these people have, it wasn't even that expensive. But noooo... according to your omniscient gospel, that was something else. Like it didn't happen to normal people, but... hmmm... super special snowflakes? Boo-Diddely-Hoo...
Don't get me wrong, these people were totally ripped off and didn't get what they paid for at all, and that's a shitty thing. But its just ridiculous to pretend that's such a drama.
They were promised an extravagant music festival and they got tent. It shouldn't matter that it wasn't even that expensive to them.
And this isn't " what EVERYONE experiences who ever was on an open air festival " because others are generally prepared as they know what's going to happen for events that have been around for years.
And I never said it doesn't happen to normal people do you can get your condescending ass out with that.
It shouldn't matter that these are rich kids, this situation was dangerous and a downright scam and this shit DOESN'T happen at other festivals otherwise people wouldn't go to them anymore.

I repeatedly said it was a scam, and that it's not ok. But when you say, they were in a dangerous situation, that's just ridiculous. Again: it was a scam, they didn't get what they pay for and thats not ok. They are legitimately pissed off and should sue the hell out of the organizers. But you of all people shouldn't really object when someone is making a joke about it. How is this not fair game when nearly everything else is to you? This is what this is about, and not that you're generally annoyed by me. I get that, really. Get your head out of your butt already.
