This was me when I was pregnant. I would try to pet my cat and she'd walk away or I'd call her and she'd ignore me and I'd start crying. My husband would reassure me that the cat still loved me and "once the baby's here all your attention will be on the baby and the cat will be dying for some loves ;)"
