I have a teacher who's usually spot on with her arguments and opinions ... But then she claimed there was a conspiracy that they're trying to feminize men and it's wrong for men to be anything other than masculine

And I think this dude died in 1916 or 1917. So this is basically the early 1900s equivalent of "YOU DAMN MILLENNIALS WITH YOUR V-NECK SHIRTS AND YOUR WEIRD ABILITY TO SHOW YOU HAVE EMOTIONS. *old man fist shake*"

We are literally going through the most peaceful time in human history, I think that has something to do with women having more rights for a change.

Each generation will likely see the next as "less manly." This is a sign of success as a society. As we create a world that is less brutal and conditions where it is easier to thrive, not only do the need for the attitudes and traits to face the dissapering challenges go with them, but we create more time for people to think and communicate, things which before were luxuries which went against survival. As we create a more even and inclusive world where people are free to realize potential and we raise the expectations of those once seen as infeebled- "being a man" becomes synonymous with being a responsible and resilient human. Does this create mediocrity? Perhaps, perhaps not, it does create a world where we have the ability to be more concerned with the means by which we achieve than be forced through grave necessity to achieve results by any means. Ethics always takes a back seat to survival, I look forward to a future where survival can be our least concern and people our first.

Statistically about half the people reading this already suck dick and the rest have either tried and don't like it, or are uninterested- the smallest group being the ones who want to try but haven't. Luckily no one is forcing you to. If you want to cling to traditional manliness try killing someone for looking at your mate, or challenging someone to a fight for sexual rights to their partner and see how that goes. Times change. You do you boo boo, no need to worry about what another people are up to, if you know who you are and are alright with that then keep right on. Other people may not value the same things as you but if they really matter to you then you won't care.
