First i dont think that is a turban and a beard is not a muslim thing. It honestly just could be a choice from the tech crew or he could have robbed it from muslim ports.
im saying the beard is a universal thing anyone can have a beard regardless of the necessity for the muslim faith. what im trying to say is that is not a turban just because a piece of cloth is tied to your head does not make it a turban.
im not denying that it is a thing im simply saying a beard is used by a lot of people of a lot of cultures so just having a beard does not make him muslim
Has Earth just forgotten the entire history of Muslims, the Ottoman Empire, and the pirates from 1500-1850ish? Seriously?
Like 4 of the pirate kings in At Worlds End were obviously Muslim.
Literally nothing about that is surprising... it's written down in every world history book. Open one.
no it is that usually pirates like black beard or the ones around the Caribbean were more renown especially for Americans. This is an american movie so you would expect an english or american pirate instead of a muslim one after all it creates a greater connection to the american audience. Also they are not a well recorded group of people most pirates were not very literate and could not write but yet again do you expect most americans to really care about the chinese who had a pirate lord who had the biggest fleet in recorded history or a bunch of muslim pirates?
I doubt that but a muslim pirate would be a turn off to a decent amount of people in the U.S. so regardless of who you think the audience is it would be smart to target white people in a white majority country right?
I think were agreeing on the same thing, so..... I'm just gonna kind of... go over there ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
But that's my opinion.
