The final orbit:
And for one last time in about a trillion years, Earth asked the sun once again for another orbit. The Sun looked upon the Earth with a smile, as she had a trillion times before. But there was something different this time. A realization. They couldn't keep orbiting forever... The suns glow was growing dimmer each moment. She moved much slower than ever before. Though Earth was young at heart and brain, she had greatly changed too. What was once green was turning murky brown; what was once blue was turning sickly green. The others knew, of course. But they were always trying to protect Earth, especially having lost Pluto but a century before. But they could not orbit forever. They moved for a trillion years, and perhaps they could move a million more... But that would be a stretch. No, they could move no longer. And the ever timeless Moon looked just the same as he had at the dawn of time, but being the wisest, knew what was to come. But Sun could never deny.......
Earth what she wanted. And of course, when the final strand of sunlight dissapears, she would die; and with her demise, came the rest of the Planets too. It would be ever so lovely to rest at last... To explode in peace... But she couldn't ever let Earth down. And so, though Saturn was greatly reluctant (she's very conceited about her rings, you know, even until the end), they silently made a decision.
As she had done a trillion times before, Sun turned to Earth, and said "Come here, Earth. Spin with me." And with a light smile on her face, they spun, until a brilliant thing happened; the Sun glowed brighter than she had since the dawn of time. Brighter still, that the planets had to close thier large eyes and shun her away, all except Earth. Earth could only smile happily in the face of her demise, and so she did, until the end of time, when at last the light was put out. There were planets no more

This is just a crappy little thing I wrote. Used the Earth instead of Pluto.
