It probably will, remember Dressrosa? That arc was filled with unnecessary episodes and it was really long

Whole Cake Island, also known as the year of Sanji, has been going on in the Manga since last year. It will probably last about 10 more chapters. They are about to finish up the tea party.

OR I could see either them ending up defeating her with the help of the Firetang and Viz Smokes which would kick start a more aggressive fight with the other Yonko. It seems that Oda is setting up TWG to help the strawhats with the Yonko and higher tier Warlords.
