Why can't disney channel have cute kids like this rather than brats with obnoxious smiles & comments about their mother's weight?

I hate to be that person that says everything nowadays sucks but I feel like we have to be that person now. I miss the old cartoons and the old tv shows that actually had depth and relatable characters. I don't watch TV much anymore because it makes me sad.
