The first picture is of Rollie Free, he was trying for a motorcycle land speed record and kept coming up short. He decided to take his leathers off and go for the superman pose to be a bit more aerodynamic and ended up getting the last few MPH he needed.

The picture from a sex ed class in 1929 is actually from a movie called "the wild party"
I love how wide a thylacine's jaws could open, and am really disappointed because the cloning project to bring them back from human-caused extinction seems to have been scrapped, though the most concrete evidence I've found one way or the other is from 2005.
