It doesn't say that you have to win every single fight, but I'm assuming you do, otherwise it wouldn't be so difficult

Yeah but not so hard that only 21 people have done it, there are hundreds of shaolin monks who could probably withstand getting beaten by 100 people due to their incredible pain tolerance. Then again, I'm not sure if they are the type of people to participate in this

I thought this sounded a bit far fetched so I looked it up. The fights are "simulated combat," which means no punches to the face, and light contact to the body. There are few videos of some of the fights. It's a real stretch to call these fights. Many of the punches and kicks (all to the body) don't even land. It's just a really long training session. It's just more marital arts mysticism nonsense.
