Shading turtorial

I've got a friend that's really good at fur. I'll ask him if he has any tutorials next time I see him.

Tsaoshin made some tutorials concerning fur a while back. He's the one who made those famous grumpy cat crossover pics.

In his words, "It's basically starting with a darker shade and using a soft brush to do short strokes in the direction you want the fur with a slightly brighter color. I usually just do the bright color once then soft shade over it to let it blend a bit but if I wanted to add more detail to it I'd add more shade/lighting specifically for the strokes."
