From the looks of the background this sea lion is wild. And from the looks of the size it's only a pup. Getting within 50 yards of wild marine mammals is dangerous and illegal and not worth a f*cking selfie. This guy is an asshole

Yes, this is from a place in San Diego, so it's definitely wild. This picture is from a video on AFHV, actually. If I remember correctly, the sea lion actually came up to him and rested on his shoulder- he didn't grab it or anything to take a selfie. Still quite dangerous though.

It's his life, let him take his dangerous selfie. It he were to get killed/injured, it would have been natural selection at work. Imo, laws shouldn't fuck with that.

If it fucks with wild animals it's wrong. Sea lions all over the CA coast have learned to go to humans for food. Its not okay at all. Screw your selfie I care about wildlife!
