That's why she looked familiar! I saw the end but I don't remember it... every time something new enters my brain I think something else gets squeezed out.

I saw the final episode before my husband so when we watched it together I stopped it right after Ted said "that's how I met your mother" and we pretend the rest didn't happen. -M

The DVD version had an alternate ending like that where before he meets her it flashes through everything while he's saying something about how all his choices led to this moment and then he meets her, they do their T.M. thing and then he says that's how I met your mother and it ends
