It would be too expensive for them to add microphones and cameras to every household appliance. If anything, they'd just tap into stuff that already has those kind of things and an internet connection. Like the new Alexa voice thing. Gaming stuff, computers, phones all that crap. Though, really, they can't watch everyone, everywhere, all the time. Chances are they aren't watching unless you have a high profile, or certain keywords are used.
