A stint in the radial artery wouldn't effect the foot alone?

If the radial artery was clogged the foot wouldn't be the only thing affected so you wouldn't be able to tell if the artery was the problem just from the foot.

They go through the radial artery to the iliac vein and insert a stent there.

i think that's the point. symptoms begin being felt at the most distant extremities.
