I have mixed feelings about this. I would enjoy going on a shopping trip with a GF, but I would be very wary about going.
I would probably decline joining them because I tried with an ex. Even though I was asked to help and asked for my opinion on some nice everyday clothes and pretty underwear, I still got cussed out and took a massive amount of shit for "trying to make them look like soemone else," screamed at for "which one of your whore exes are you trying to make me look like" and "I'm not your dress up slut."
I stopped going after that trip and stopped offering my opinion. The rare times I got tricked and suckered in afterward, I simply said, "Does it fit? Is it comfortable? Do you like it? It's fine then."
