Idk if it actually relates to the way Walter makes it, but in ghetto style they use the lithium from batteries, though I think it's more of a separating agent

Those are just the ingredients to make meth, not necessarily what's in it, you use all of that to get the final product of methamphetamine, which would basically have bits and pieces of each ingredient
