This made me remember that one Life After People episode where Cassini crashed into Europa and created life there.

That is correct. The Agenzia Spaziale Italiana, ASI, or Italian Space Agency is a separate body from the ESA that collaborated with NASA and ESA on the Cassini-Huygens mission.
