Looks like a St Andrews Cross spider.

In Florida we just call them Banana Spiders. Don't know why since it doesn't have anything to do with bananas. Their actually pretty cool if see from a distance. They make some of the largest webs you'll ever see and some of the most complex. Side note: the female can get 2 inches long not counting the legs and it's not a spider I'm fond of turning a corner and coming face to face with.

must be a southern thing in s.c. we call them banana spider too, side note they bleed black or at least when you smash them they bleed black
