The basics of this - the mimicking of the stance and motion, not the naked part- was/is the basis we used to connect with my Autistic daughter. We entered her world to bring her into ours. It works.

@scurvyknave. I'm sure she is an awesome little person. And now that y'all have a way into her world, she is never gonna stop amazing y'all. I'm really happy to hear about how y'all found a way in. Cause there are so many other parents or people who are Autistic that haven't found a way to get into each other's world and they probably never will (due to not finding the right key) or can (cause there is no place for a key). Thus they will never actually get to know each other even though they live with each other. And that makes me sad. So when I say I'm happy for y'all, I mean it!!
