I love learning new things. I love filling myself with knowledge and trying new things every day.
However, I hate school. I hate how we spend ~7 hours in school every day, only to spend the rest of our day doing even more work, staying up until early morning with barely a break to eat. I hate how we are made slaves to our own mindless studying that we will never use in the real world, sacrificing time that should be used to socialize with friends, family, and get time to do things like draw or exercise or pursue a hobby.
I hate how being trapped in this prison from the time we are a young, inquisitive child, to a socially anxious, depressed, even suicidal adult kills every bit of hope for our future, desire to change the world, and natural instinct to want to understand our world and pursue happiness.
I love school, but can't stand British Literature - the teacher is amazing, but it's too subjective for my tastes. The only good thing in that class is the occasional new vocabulary and the philosophical discussions me and him will have sometimes.
