Arguing with an engineer

That blew my mind.

He was once arguing with me about how dinosaurs wouldn't completely fuck up our environment today. I mean... There's a million reasons why they would, and he stubbornly clinged onto the idea that nature would balance them out. -_-

Nature finds a way.

Except that nature has evolved to support much smaller creatures. There isn't enough foliage in any system to support an herbivore. MAYBE an untouched part of the amazon rainforest could... But it's like putting a male and a female rabbit into a system with no predators. They keep breeding and devastating the local food sources until they start dying of starvation
