That is why we should change the way the death penalty is handled. Do away with ten thousand dollar drugs, dozens upon dozens of appeals, and activist judges that actively fight it.
Just get a verdict of guilty, a confirmation trial or two, and then take the fuckers out back and shoot them.
I believe she's past the point of redemption. Torturing and killing toddlers is not excusable in any circumstance, and there's no telling how many more innocent kids she could kill.
Imma have to agree to disagree because I'm not about to debate this, but that violates several UN conventions and 99% of countries laws for the very reason that she is far too young to fully comprehend the nature of her actions
I don't give a damn about conventions established by something as toothless as the UN, and I don't care how young the criminal is. She deliberately murdered and mutilated toddlers that could barely walk. The fact that she may not comprehend her own actions only makes it worse in my eyes. I'd be willing to squeeze the trigger myself on anyone who kills innocents, much less innocent children.

To me, it’s not whether or not they deserve it. It’s if the person is still a threat to society. If she can’t see how it’s wrong kill and mutilate a toddler, then she is past the point of saving and should be put down before the next child is murdered.
She probably didn't understand because of the extensive brain damage she suffered from the multiple times her mother tried to poison her, or maybe it was the trauma from the fact that her mother also frequently sold her off to service her 'clients' in the bedroom and had been doing so since the girl was 4 years old. The entire story of this case is tragic.
I don't believe that mental illness is good enough to be used as an excuse for crime such serious as murder
The ill person who committed murder should be locked up with suitable treatment for their condition and their guardian will have to be punished too as they have not looked after the ill person careful enough which led to crimes
(We don't let crazy people be out of the mental hospital here if they don't have a responsible guardian)
I agree with Rosa... I don't think anyone that young should be given lethal injection... get her in to a mental facility until she's 18 at least, she's young enough to learn new behaviors, to be rehabilitated. At ten you can still be saved. Have her caregivers prosecuted for negligence. She's a murdered but she's only 10

Even my 2 year old niece knows that she shouldn't pet the cat too harsh!
